Nils Kooijman, MSc
Nils graduated as a MSc in Biology at University Leiden, with a specialisation in Biology and Science Communication. Nils’ MSc thesis focused on the often confusing and contradicting information in the field of healthy nutrition, diabetes and obesity. From 2012 onwards, he has gained experience with regional, national, European grants. Themes in these grants range from proton therapy, cardiology, pharmacy and clinical research. Furthermore, Nils has specialised in supporting (medical) ICT innovation and research.
I think it’s amazing that I can help passionate and ambitious people in realising their ideas. I’m a curious person and therefore love seeing what other companies do on a daily basis as well as projectwise. Outside of work I’m a true nature lover. I love to look for reptiles and amphibians in the wild. As there aren’t a lot to discover in the Netherlands, I regularly have to go abroad to spot new species! I also practice capoeira twice a week and read a lot about food en science.
