Merian Lelieveld, MA
Merian has been back at Hezelburcht since September 2022 as Principal Consultant. She was already active as a Compliance Officer from 2015 to 2016, after which she made the switch to (Senior) Consultant from 2017 to 2020. She then worked as a Portfolio Manager at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment for over two years.
What makes this work so interesting is the versatility of substantive issues, the complexity of large corporate projects and the business cases involved, and that you work on concrete results. Every day is a surprise what comes your way. The appreciation you get from the customer is also a strong incentive. That’s what you end up doing it all for.
In my spare time, I enjoy visiting places of historic interest, old towns and museums, or spending time outdoors (walking, cycling, going to the petting zoo with the kids). I also like board games, winter sports, reading and I always find (behavioural) economics interesting.
