Hjalmar van Tolie, BSc
Hjalmar joined Hezelburcht in October 2024. He has worked with grants since 2015, specialising in the built environment. He now applies his knowledge and experience within the Sustainability team in Amsterdam.
The boundaries of sustainability in the built environment are constantly being pushed and developments are happening fast. It is great fun to serve the top end of the market and help think about innovative solutions in construction. In addition, the subsidy market is very dynamic because laws and regulations change every year. This keeps the work, even after almost 10 years, still challenging.
Outside work, I can be found in the Bouldergym or climbing hall almost every day, to challenge myself physically. I also enjoy a physical challenge on holidays.
