Hager joined Hezelburcht as European Affairs Manager in November 2018. Her focus will be on facilitating the internationalisation of Hezelburcht and multinational consortium building. Hager will continue to build on and grow her EU and international network through lobbying efforts for and on behalf of Hezelburcht clients to further leverage financial and technical partnerships.

I look forward to putting my experience in the field of partnership brokering, policy development and project management within UN and EU institutions, NGOs and the private sector to good use at Hezelburcht. Having worked six years for a European Commission programme developing calls and reviewing grant applications, I hope to support colleagues and clients alike navigate the EU grants arena. Driving Hezelburcht’s position as preferred partner for achieving results within and beyond the EU means being at the forefront of cutting edge research, innovation and implementation. Every day is different; however, the one constant are the amazing high calibre specialists that make up Hezelburcht and their genuine commitment to our clients. That makes my job not only enjoyable but also highly rewarding.

When I am not working, I enjoy deep-sea diving and BBQ-ing. To let off steam I enjoy boxing and stand-up comedy – not at the same time.
