Gerben van der Steege, MA
Gerben has been working as a grant consultant at Hezelburcht since 2016. For his studies, he first studied Domain Economics (Economics and Geography) at Utrecht University and then completed the Master’s degree in Urban, Port and Transport Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 2006. His work experience as a consultant/policy researcher commissioned by the central government helps him build bridges between governments and industry.
For me, the client and his/her ambitions are central and that is also where I get my job satisfaction: finding the tailor-made solution in the wide range of possibilities and exploiting it! That actually means that any suitable subsidy scheme is an option. As a result, I have built up a very broad expertise of subsidy programmes.
