Second call Interreg Europe closed: 145 applications submitted
On 15 March, the second call of Interreg Europe opened for applications. The call closed on 9 June. The Interreg Europe programme supports public organisations, private parties and NGOs in improving regional development policies, instruments and programmes. During the second call, a total of 145 applications were submitted. These are now being assessed.

Between 15 March and 9 June 2023, 145 applications were submitted. As can be seen in the image below, most of the applications were about the topic ‘Green’ for a greener, low-carbon and more resilient Europe. An average of over € 1.4 million of ERDF funding was applied for per application. Most applications (124) came from Italy.
