INNOWWIDE 2024 call opens in autumn for SMEs and start-ups
Are you an innovative SME and do you want to discover whether international markets are ready for the introduction of your product or service? The INNOWWIDE grant might help you realise your international ambitions. The third call of INNOWWIDE opens in autumn 2024 for applications.

Thanks to the INNOWWIDE grant, SMEs can receive support in exploring other international markets. SMEs can get market research and preparatory work for R&D projects funded anywhere in the world when there is cooperation with local partners. The INNOWWIDE program will run from 2022 to 2027, with expected annual openings. The feasibility projects to be supported, also known as Viability Assessment Projects (VAP), must be conducted in collaboration with local stakeholders. These projects should not last longer than 6 months.
INNOWWIDE budget
A total budget of € 24 million is available for the entire program from 2022 to 2027. A maximum of € 60,000 can be funded per project and 70% of eligible costs. The exact budget for the third INNOWWIDE call is not yet known.
Conditions for INNOWWIDE 2024
To be eligible for INNOWWIDE, you must meet several conditions:
- Your project is for civil application only;
- You have an SME or start-up based in Europe;
- Your project has a maximum duration of 6 months;
- You submit one application per company;
- Your company is registered in an EU Member State, Iceland, Israel, Norway, or Turkey;
- You conduct the project in cooperation with a local partner.
