Horizon Europe Cluster 5: two new calls for mobility and transport projects are now open
New funding opportunity for smart and green projects in the transport sector! CINEA has opened two new calls for proposals, worth € 163.5 million in total. The two new calls are part of cluster 5 of Horizon Europe, this cluster is focussing on Climate, Energy and Mobility. Green and Smart research projects in transport and mobility are eligible for funding within the two new calls. Applications can be submitted until 5 September 2024.
Open calls Horizon Europe Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility
The two new open calls in 2024 of Horizon Europe Cluster 5 are:
- Cross-sector solutions for the climate transition (HORIZON-CL5-2024-D2-02) – € 39 million budget for three different topics
- Safe, resilient, transport and smart mobility services for passengers and goods (HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01) – € 124.5 million budget for thirteen different topics]

With a total budget of € 95.5 billion, EC tackles current social challenges in Europe about science and innovation. Horizon Europe consists of six different clusters, each cluster having its own focus group. This covers topics such as health, sustainability, food, environment, safety, and more!
