Highlighted event: Sharing knowledge & Matchmaking at FENS Forum of Neuroscience

From 9 to 13 July 2022, the FENS Forum of Neuroscience will take place in Paris. With more than 5,000 participants, the biennial event is the largest European gathering in the field of Neuroscience, bringing together like-minded innovative companies and academic researchers. Hezelburcht is also present this year.

The European neuroscience field meets

The topics covered at the conference cover the entire Neuroscience field; from cognition and behaviour, computational neuroscience and neural development to the development of new methods and technologies. Besides the scientific sessions, the Forum also offers ample opportunity for networking on the exhibition floor and the networking events. On Sunday, 10 July 2022, for example, there will be a Networking, Training and Funding Opportunities in Neuroscience meeting where ERA-NET Neuron, ebrains, FENS, IBRO-PERC and the Cajal Training Programme will provide more information about funding opportunities for young scientists.

Cross-sectoral & international

In this way, the Forum offers an ideal breeding ground for new ideas and collaborations. The international and intersectoral character of the Forum also ensures that collaborations naturally arise that fit in perfectly with various international subsidy programmes such as Horizon Europe, Eurostars and Interreg.

Sharing knowledge & matchmaking

On behalf of Hezelburcht, two specialists will be present at FENS 2022: Dr Naomi de Haas and Dr Carola Janssen will use their knowledge and skills to identify suitable subsidy opportunities for innovative ideas.

Carola and Naomi have both completed a PhD in the Neuroscience field at the world-class research centre Donders Institute and the Radboudumc in Nijmegen. For years, they have been using their knowledge of the development and functioning of the brain to make the right match between a project idea and suitable funding. Would you like to discuss funding possibilities for your project or research with them? Feel free to contact them for a one-on-one meeting.
