Call for proposals 2025 – Open launched by Clean Hydrogen Partnership
New funding opportunities for clean and advanced hydrogen technologies! The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has launched ‘Call for proposals 2025 – Open’ with a total budget of € 184.5 million. Your project can get funded under six different categories, from renewable hydrogen production to hydrogen transport, hydrogen storage and more. The deadline for submissions is 23 April 2025.
Call for proposals 2025 – Open
The new call for proposals has been published. The submission system is open from 30 January 2025 to 23 April 2025, 17:00 (CEST). There is a budget of € 184.5 million available for six categories containing 19 topics in total: six Innovation Actions (IA), 12 Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) and 1 Coordination and Support Action (CSA). Is your organisation working on a cutting-edge hydrogen technology? Then maybe your project is eligible for funding from one of the following topics:
- 7 topics – Renewable Hydrogen Production (€ 40M budget)
- 3 topics – Hydrogen Storage and Distribution (€ 16M budget)
- 3 topics – Transport (€ 17M budget)
- 1 topic – Heat and Power (€ 5M budget)
- 3 topics – Cross-cutting (€ 6.5M budget)
- 2 topics – Hydrogen Valleys (€ 80M budget)
Hydrogen Valleys are hydrogen ecosystems that cover a specific region with local activities or international outreach (industrial areas, ports, airports etc.). Hydrogen Valleys are an important aspect of the REPowerEU plan.
What is the Clean Hydrogen Partnership?
Clean Hydrogen Partnership is a public-private partnership supporting research and innovation projects in Europe. This initiative aims to make Europe more sustainable through clean hydrogen technologies and is part of Horizon Europe. Clean Hydrogen Partnership is the successor to Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking.
