The scheme opens for applications at the end of November 2024.
What is STIPP grant funding for?
STIPP grants can be used mainly for product and process innovations contributing to society’s transitions. Think industrialisation, circular economy, or a healthier society. The Meuse-Rhine region is an innovative high-tech region with a lot of research and industry at both SME and global levels. For this reason, this region has a lot of potential and can be strengthened by cross-border collaborations.
STIPP funding
For each cooperation project, the grant budget to be received is between €150,000 and €600,000. The amount depends on the number of cross-border companies involved in the cooperation. The total grant budget is over €22 million.
The grant scheme will be kicked off on 21 November 2024 at an event during which the first call for proposals will also be published.
Cooperation between the Meuse-Rhine regions
The scheme was set up to improve multi-country cooperation in the Meuse-Rhine region and strengthen it. For this reason, the partners of STIPP grant aim to fund 16 to 66 projects by the end of 2029, with a total of 64 to 132 different SMEs.
